Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Genaro Rentals website, mobile experience, or booking services (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility to Rent
To book a vehicle, you must be at least 21 years of age, hold a valid driver's license, and provide a valid form of payment in your own name. Drivers under 25 may be subject to a young-driver surcharge and additional restrictions on vehicle class. We reserve the right to refuse a booking if these requirements are not met.
3. Bookings and Payment
All bookings are subject to vehicle availability and confirmation. Prices shown at checkout include the daily rental rate, applicable sales tax, and a refundable security deposit; additional fees (such as dog boarding, if selected) are itemized before payment. Payment is processed securely through Stripe at the time of booking. Genaro Rentals does not store your full card details.
4. Vehicle Use
Rented vehicles may only be driven by the primary driver named on the booking and any additional drivers approved in advance. Vehicles must not be used for any illegal purpose, for towing, for racing, or outside the continental United States without prior written consent. You are responsible for all tolls, traffic violations, and parking citations incurred during your rental period.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellation and refund terms, including the refundable security deposit and free-cancellation window, are described in full in our Refund Policy.
6. Insurance and Liability
Full coverage is required in every rental as described at checkout. You remain responsible for any damage, loss, or theft resulting from a breach of these Terms, unauthorized use, or gross negligence. We strongly recommend reviewing your own auto insurance policy or credit card rental-coverage benefits before booking.
7. Listing Your Vehicle
Owners who submit a vehicle through our “List Your Vehicle” program grant Genaro Rentals the right to review, list, and manage bookings for the vehicle once approved. Payout terms and eligibility are confirmed individually during onboarding.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
